จบไปเเล้วสำหรับ Green Bird Bangkok ครั้งที่6 ของพวกเรา ซึ่งจัดในเสาร์ที่ 8 ตุลาคม โดย OpenSchool พวกเราได้มารวมตัวเพื่อที่จะทำความสะอาดเเละเก็บขยะ ในบริเวณจุฬาลงกรณ์ซอย 5 ไม่ว่าจะเป็นขยะชิ้นเล็กหรือชิ้นใหญ่ จะฝังในดินหรือบนพื้น ฝนจะตกแดดจะร้อนเพียงใด พวกเราก็ยังช่วยกันเก็บด้วยความตั้งใจและสำเร็จลุล่วงไปด้วยดีค่ะ
ในครั้งนี้ของ Green Bird Bangkok เราได้ต้อนรับนักเรียนจากนอกเครือให้มาเข้าร่วมเเละร่วมมือเก็บขยะไปกับพวกเราด้วย ซึ่งทำให้นักเรียนจากโรงเรียนอื่นๆได้มีโอกาสมาเข้าร่วมกับพวกเรา เเละช่วยกันเก็บขยะเพื่อให้เมืองของพวกเราน่าอยู่ขึ้น
ก่อนที่เราจะได้ลงไปเก็บขยะในสถานที่จริง พวกเราก็มีพิธีกรสองคนมาให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับ green Bird เเละวิธีการเเยกขยะอีกด้วย น่าเสียดายที่ตรั้งนี้เราไม่มีกิจกรรมสนุกๆในระหว่างงานให้เล่นกัน เเต่ต้องขอบคุณพิธีกรของพวกเราในครั้งนี้ที่ทำให้ผู้เข้าร่วมไม่เบื่อหน่ายในระหว่างฟัง
ในขณะที่เราได้ออกไปเก็บขยะกันนั้น ในแต่ละพื้นที่ก็มีขยะมากมายหลายชนิด ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเศษกระดาษ ถุงพลาสติก บุหรี่ หรือแม้กระทั่งเศษอาหาร โดยเราเชื่อว่าที่ในพื้นที่มีเศษขยะเหล่านี้ เป็นเพราะเป็นพื้นที่สาธารณะผู้คนสัญจรไปมา เป็นบ้านเรือนที่พักอาศัยอยู่แถวนั้น เราไม่สามารถบังคับให้ทุกคนทิ้งขยะให้เป็นที่ได้ จึงทำให้มีขยะเป็นจำนวนมากเพราะเหตุนี้ พวกเราจึงร่วมแรงร่วมใจกันทำความสะอาดทั่วบริเวณจุฬาลงกรณ์ซอย 5 เพื่อช่วยให้ขยะเหล่านี้ลดลง และยังช่วยฟื้นฟูสภาพแวดล้อมให้น่าอยู่ยิ่งขึ้น
นอกจากพวกเราที่ได้เก็บขยะเเล้ว พวกเราก็ได้รู้จักกับเพื่อนใหม่ๆที่เราไม่เคยคุยหรือรู้จักกันมาก่อน ทั้งรุ่นพี่เเละรุ่นน้อง ซึ่งทำให้มีสีสันในกิจกรรมขึ้นเเละเต็มใจในการช่วยกันเก็บขยะรอบนี้ด้วยค่ะ ถึงพวกเราจะเจออุปสรรคบ้าง เเต่ด้วยพลังTeamworkของพวกเรา พวกเราก็ได้ฝ่าฟันอุปสรรคนั้นไปได้อย่างสำเร็จค่า
ทั้งนี้ ทางผู้ดำเนินงานขอขอบคุณผู้เข้าร่วมทุกท่านที่เข้ามาร่วมกันทำกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ให้สำเร็จลุล่วงไปได้ด้วยดีค่ะ แล้วเจอกันใหม่ครั้งหน้านะคะ

We have come to the end of the 6th Green Bird Bangkok, held by OpenSchool on Saturday 8th of October. Our volunteer have gathered to pick up the trash at Chulalongkorn Soi 5. Either small pieces of plastic or big packages of snacks were placed in our right type of bins. We even sought those hidden rubbish under soil. We as well dedicated ourselves to greener environment even if the weather was boiling and rained a bit. Overall, the event was accomplished as we planned ahead.
This time of Green Bird Bangkok, we welcome the students from the other school apart from our system. This gave a chance to the students apart from our system to joined us and make the city a better place the live.
Before heading to the place where we have to pick up the trash, we have two host the tell us about Green Bird and help us about seperating the trash. However this time we don't have a fun activity to do but our host did the best job the keep the participants entertained.
While we picking up the trash, we found so many trash in the area, such as bottle of water, the caps, plastic bags, and especially cigarettes, they are so many of them. We assumed that these wastes would be continuously disposed by local people and whoever wander about. Chulalongkorn Soi 5 is a public place, so we cannot force everyone not to litter. We, Green Bird Volunteers, then pooled our efforts in order to make the area cleaned. Reducing the number of wastes brought livable and delightful atmosphere.
Green Bird Bangkok Event implanted volunteer consciousness and encouraged students to get to know each other. Some might not know seniors, juniors, or friends from another classroom. In each group, they learned to work harmoniously and willingly. Although there were some obstacles during the event process, but with the power of teamwork, we accomplished all of the obstacles.
Last but not least, we are deeply thankful that participants realized that many hands make light work. You all are the major part of accomplishment. See you again soon! We Green Bird hope to see you in the next time.
