日本語↓Thank you to all who joined the event today! We had a diverse range of participants, including 4 young children and people from Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia and the USA! I was glad we got out onto the street for Clean Up Australia Day. We still have a long way to go in making Sydney a cleaner city - especially in terms of small pieces of plastic littered all over the roads and parks. It doesn’t help that confetti, streamers, balloons and feathers have become a feature of the streets over the past few weeks. They are pollution too :(. Even picking up a small amount of rubbish helps to make a difference to all the animals we share our city and seas with. Hopefully we raised awareness about the rubbish issue as we walked around picking up rubbish too. @sydneycitycouncil needs to do more to avoid bins from overflowing around Chinatown. It’s not a pretty sight for residents and tourists alike! We finished at the park where we took a photo under the blue sky. It was a beautiful day for a clean up!
今日はクリーンアップオーストラリアの日でした。オーストラリア人じゃないのにさまざまな国籍の方がグリーンバードに来てくれて、オーストラリアの環境のために頑張ってゴミを拾ってくれて、普通に感動しました！やっぱり国籍によってオーストラリアの道の綺麗さに対する印象は全然違いますね。アメリカの人にとって、シドニーはとても綺麗な印象らしいですがでびっくりしました。私からするとシドニー市はまだまだ頑張らないといけないからですね。最近ワールドプライドの行事もシドニーで行われたせいかいつも通りのゴミに加えて、パーティグッズのゴミ（カラフルな人工の羽やプラスチック性紙吹雪や風船など）も見つけて、溢れているゴミ箱も見て、市はエコな行事にできるようにもっと頑張らないといけないと思いました。この町で生活しているのは人間だけではないので、共に生きている動物のために少しでもゴミの量を減らしたなら嬉しいです。最後に青空の下で公園での集合写真が撮れました。お掃除をするのに丁度いい晴天でした！グリーンバードに来てくださり、ありがとうございました。また次回お会いできるの楽しみにしております♪
