Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless!

Activity date and time: 27th of February 2022, 15:00 to 17:00
Reception hours: 14:40 to 15:00
Location: Simscape 11th Floor
Place of activity: Henri Dunant Road
What to bring: Only your selfless, volunteering spirit! All of the equipment will be provided.

As a trial run to let us test the waters before officially becoming part of the Green Bird family,
students from NewHayo Club (student-run) at the Newton Sixth Form School. We recruited
Newton students from Year 11-13 to participate in our trash picking volunteer service
this time round.

In the first Greenbird activity, we are excited and want to do this activity for the public. After we do the collecting trash, We received multiple positive and constructive feedback from our participants,giving us a clear picture of what we needed to work on and what we have done well.

The idea of gathering students from vast age groups to do an activity that benefits the community nearby is not Stay tuned for further updates and be prepared to create a better, trash-free community together!
